Causing someone else a little unhappiness...

I'm in one of those moods... One of those moods that comes out of nowhere, completely unexpected and sometimes (like today) off the back of a very good free hot-chocolate induced mood. Today however, I can pin-point the very moment this bad mood set in. On coming home from a hard days work I find that a) the washing up still hasn't been done, b) the hoover is still sitting redundant without a bag in and c) I had been given a boy scouts honour promise that this wouldn't be the case.

There's nothing else for it. The only thing that could possibly shift this grey cloud (other than cleaning, which is not an option - it's the principle) is to make someone else's world a little gloomier.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not about to start feeding rice to poor pigeons or pouring salt over unsuspecting slugs. This wouldn't give me any satisfaction at all. No, I'm going to target a certain perpetraitor of injustice who lives on my very street.

Yes, this bugger has been abusing his disabled bay, parking half in, half out. The cheek!

Uhhuh, I know what you're thinking, hardly the injustice you were imagining! But at 7pm on a soggy evening with a car full of shopping when the only space in the street happens to encompass the back end of his designated area, it gets more than a tad annoying.

Do you know what I did!? Yep, I reported him to the council. I even offered to take photos as evidence. I've a little guilty smile spreading across my face...

So, dear arthritis-sufferer, I am sorry that the number of the Parking Office happened to be on the kitchen table as I was assessing the state of the kitchen this afternoon. It appears that you've been hit by my bad mood.

On the plus side, I'm feeling better!
